Cambodia and Thailand sign peace agreement with Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump joined the signing of a peace agreement between Cambodia and Thailand during the Southeast Asian Summit in Malaysia on Sunday.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to CNN.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Maneth and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Shinawirakul, along with Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, signed the agreement during a ceremony on stage against the backdrop of the United States coat of arms and the inscription “delivering peace.”
Border tensions between the two countries erupted into a five-day conflict in July that left dozens of civilians dead and hundreds of thousands displaced.
Trump took credit for resolving the conflict. The initial truce, brokered by Malaysia, was signed on July 28 after the US president held phone calls with the leaders of both sides and warned them that he would not sign trade deals with either side if the conflict continued.
