The 1160th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is underway. The enemy is using its superiority in manpower to attack our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In total, 168 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Yesterday, the enemy conducted 83 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 165 drones. In addition, it carried out 5089 attacks, including 88 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2337 kamikaze drones to defeat them.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Semenivka in Chernihiv region; Prokhody, Miropilske, Maryine, Ugroids, Velykyi Prykil in Sumy region; Zirka, Kostiantynivka, Novopil, Zelenyi Pole in Donetsk region; Gulyaypole, Malynivka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk, Lukianivske in Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Kherson.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two areas of personnel concentration, four command and control points and three enemy artillery systems.

Situation at the front

Inthe Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Vovchansk, Krasnyi Pershyi and Mala Shapkivka.

Three attacks took place inthe Kupyansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s assault in the areas of Nova Kruhlyakivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.

The enemy attacked inthe Liman sector 20 times. He tried to break into our defense near the settlements of Nadiia, Nove, Ridkodub, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka, Myrne and in the direction of Novyi Myr.

Inthe Siversky sector, the Defense Forces stopped two offensives of the invaders towards Verkhnekamianske.

Inthe Kramatorsk sector, 16 firefights were registered yesterday near Chasovyi Yar, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka and in the directions of Mayske, Stupochky and Bila Hora.

Inthe Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Ozaryanivka, Dachne, Diliyivka, Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.

Inthe Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 64 aggressor’s attacks near the settlements of Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Kotlyarivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Nova Poltavka, Troitske Novooleksandrivka, Novopavlivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Bahatyr, Nadiivka and in the direction of Oleksiivka, Pokrovsk, Malynivka.

Inthe Novopavlivka sector, the enemy made 13 attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole and in the direction of Odradne yesterday.

Inthe Orikhivsk sector, the occupants tried to advance once in the area of Lobkove.

In thePrydniprovskyi sector, the enemy made one futile attempt to advance.

No combat engagements were registered inthe Huliaipol sector.

Inthe Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the invaders in the Kursk sector. Thus, yesterday the enemy launched seven air strikes, dropping 13 drones, and fired 302 times, 9 of which were from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders stopped 23 assault actions of the invaders.

Enemy losses

In total, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1160 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized four tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, 72 operational and tactical UAVs and 105 units of occupants’ vehicles.
