Cashback for February will be credited starting April 7: how the program works following the changes

Starting April 7, Ukrainians will begin receiving payments under the National Cashback Program for purchases made in February.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
How many people will receive payments
According to the ministry, funds will be sent to over 4.46 million program users.
Some participants will also receive cashback for January along with their February payment. The payment was previously delayed due to the need for additional data processing in coordination with banks.
How was the cashback calculated
Cashback for February was calculated using the program’s old model, when a fixed rate was in effect:
- 10% of the purchase amount.
However, starting March 1, 2026, the program operates under new rules.
Now a tiered system is in place:
- 5% cashback — for some products;
- 15% cashback — for specific product categories.
A separate program—fuel cashback
As part of the National Cashback program, a portion of fuel costs is also reimbursed.
Nearly 190 gas station chains—ranging from large to local operators—have already joined the initiative.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, over 1.3 million Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the fuel cashback.
How much can you get for fuel
The reimbursement depends on the type of fuel:
- 15% — for diesel;
- 10% — for gasoline;
- 5% — for autogas.
The program for partial reimbursement of fuel costs launched on March 20 and will run until May 1 at gas stations participating in the initiative.
Payments are also made through the National Cashback program.
