Cold and rain on October 29: weather will change dramatically in almost all regions

Today, October 29, cold and rainy weather is expected in Ukraine due to the influence of atmospheric fronts. In most regions, precipitation of varying intensity is possible – from light to moderate. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The air temperature overnight is expected to be between 3 and 8 degrees, tomorrow during the day it will be 7 to 11 degrees in the west and north of Ukraine, 10 to 13 degrees in the rest of the country, and 13 to 15 degrees in the south and southeast. The wind will be from the west, moderate, sometimes gusty,” the forecaster said.
According to Natalka Didenko, light rain and gusty westerly winds are expected in Kyiv on October 29. At night it will be 4… 7 degrees, during the day on Wednesday it will be about 10 degrees.
Later in the day, the weather is expected to be warmer in Ukraine, up to 12…17 degrees, except that on Saturday the temperature will drop slightly to 10…12 degrees.
According to the Ukrainian Weather Center, unstable weather is expected throughout Ukraine on October 29. Atmospheric fronts will bring rain, cold snaps and strong gusts of wind. Forecasters warn that precipitation will cover almost the entire country, with the exception of some areas in the south.
Precipitation and wind
- In most regions – light rain, in Transcarpathia at night – moderate precipitation.
- In the western, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible during the day.
- The wind is mostly southwest, 7-12 m/s.
Temperature conditions
- At night, the temperature will be 2… 7 °C.
- During the day, the air will warm up to 8… 13 °C.
- In Zakarpattia and the south, it will be warmer, up to 16 °C.
Weather in the Carpathians
In the mountainous areas, winter conditions are expected:
- At night – moderate precipitation, mostly in the form of snow.
- During the day – wet snow and rain.
- Wind gusts – 17-22 m/s.
- The temperature at night will be from 1 to -3 °C, during the day – 1… 6 °C.
