The number of missile attacks on Ukraine in October is the highest in 2.5 years

The Russian army fired more than 270 missiles of various types in Ukraine in October 2025. This is the highest monthly figure since the beginning of 2023, i.e. more than 2.5 years, AFP reports, "Komersant Ukrainian".

It obtained this data by analyzing daily reports from the Armed Forces. It turned out that the number of missiles fired by Ukraine in a month increased by 46% compared to September and reached a maximum since the beginning of 2023, when Kyiv began to openly publish data on shelling.

Ukrainian Armed Forces report 132 missiles shot down

On November 1, the Ukrainian Air Force itself published statistics on missiles on Telegram, listing only downed warheads. There are 132 missiles of various types in total: “Kinzhal”, “Iskander-M”, “Iskander-K”, X-101, “Kalibr”, X-59.

According to AFP estimates, in October, Russia also fired 5,298 long-range attack drones at Ukraine. This is 6% less than in September. The maximum number of drones for the entire war was recorded in July of this year – more than 6,000 long-range drones.
