Kyiv residents warned: in some areas the alarm will not work

In some parts of Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts, the air raid warning system will not work until November 25. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to preliminary information, this happened due to the failure of certain communications. According to Popko, the estimated time for restoring the system is November 25. Meanwhile, in other parts of the city, the warning system is operating normally.
As explained by the Kyiv City State Administration, the alarm will be announced using loudspeakers on the streets of three districts, not just Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi, as KCSA says.
To inform the citizens about the threat, the National Police and the State Emergency Service will use loudspeakers to alert them, according to a jointly developed plan.
In addition, residents can follow air alert announcements on KCIA’s Telegram channel, Kyiv Digital app, and the official Alert app.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force has created an official community on Viber. It will provide information on air threats and the results of combat operations.
