Kyiv under massive drone attack: there are fires (video)

On the night of July 31, Russia massively attacks Kyiv with drones. There were explosions in the city, air defense was activated, and fires broke out. This is reported by the Telegram channels of Kyiv Mayor Volodymyr Klitschko and Head of the Kyiv City Administration Timur Tkachenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The explosions in Kyiv occurred after 23:00. It happened amid the threat of drones. The mayor of Kyiv reported on the work of air defense.
“Explosions in the capital. Air defense forces are working. Stay in shelters,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
According to Klitschko, enemy UAVs are entering the city from different directions. This information is also confirmed by the Ukrainian Air Force. According to the military, attack drones are flying at Kyiv from the south, north, and east.
Later, at 23:49, Timur Tkachenko reported the first consequences of the drone attack – five locations with damage. Among the consequences:
- a fire in an educational institution,
- a car fire,
- debris fell on the ninth floor of a residential building.
The head of the KCMA added that an apartment on the fifth floor in Solomyansky district is also on fire.
There is no information about the victims in Kyiv.
As of 00:20, powerful explosions are heard in Kyiv. Monitoring groups report several dozen drones flying towards the capital.
In Kyiv, an enemy UAV flew directly over a metro station, followed by a powerful explosion.
