Kyiv suffers drone attack: falling debris starts a fire

On the night of 25 October, Kyiv suffered its fifteenth air attack in October. The enemy once again used unmanned aerial vehicles against civilians. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, they were launched from the Kursk region and Krasnodar Territory, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The drones entered the city in two large waves. The first time the air alert was announced in Kyiv around midnight, and the second time – at around three in the morning. In total, the nighttime alerts lasted about 4 hours.

During this time, up to a dozen enemy drones threatening the capital of Ukraine were detected and neutralised in various ways (air defence, electronic warfare, etc.) (the exact number and type of drones will be made public by the Air Force).

As a result of the night air attack, debris fell in the capital. In particular, in the Darnytsia district of the city, the wreckage of downed enemy drones caused trees and grass to catch fire in an open area.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

As of 7am, there was no information on casualties.
