HEMPY UA is an industrial park that specialises in the development and production of products based on industrial hemp. HEMPY UA was included in the register of industrial parks approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

It was announced that the park should become “a centre of modern technologies in the cultivation and processing of industrial hemp, which will allow the production of more than 200 types of different products”.

The industrial park, according to the project’s website, covers an area of about 50 hectares in the Rivne region, and will be equipped with production and technological equipment. The park’s residents are companies that specialise in the production of industrial hemp products, research and development of new products, and the provision of special services.

The infrastructure and technological capabilities of the park should provide the entire chain “from seed to production and sale of finished products”. In addition, HEMPY UA announced the construction of its own research centre, which should combine “the experience of world partners with the scientific potential of experts from the Ukrainian Institute of Hem p Breeding”. The latest developments and technologies of the centre should contribute to the development of the hemp industry and product certification processes according to European standards, the company explained.
