Maguchikh wins a medal in the Diamond League final for the fifth time in a row

Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh won silver at the Diamond League 2025 final in Zurich, Switzerland, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
the 23-year-old Ukrainian athlete finished the competition with a score of 2.02 meters.
The winner was Australian Nicola Olislagers, who cleared the bar at a height of 2.04 meters. This is her personal best. Maguchikh cleared 2.06 meters, but was unable to jump over the bar, just like the Australian.
This is the fifth medal for the Ukrainian athlete in the final of this tournament, but Maguchikh broke her streak of three consecutive Diamond League finals. She has won the season finals three times in her career – in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Another Ukrainian, Yulia Levchenko, stopped one step short of the podium, taking fourth place with a result of 2.00 meters. The 27-year-old native of Bakhmut managed to reach this height for the first time since 2020.
