The White House confirms to the media that Trump does not plan to meet with Putin in the near future

There are no plans for a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the near future.

This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a statement by a White House official, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are also not planning personal talks, the official said, adding that the foreign ministers’ phone call on Monday was productive.

Trump said on Tuesday, in response to a question about the summit with Putin, that he had not yet decided and did not want the meeting to be in vain.
