Macron promises Russia retribution in case of refusal to negotiate

Russia will face consequences and pay a high price if it refuses to negotiate.
This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron on social network X, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“If Russia continues to insist on its bellicose stubbornness and its refusal to come to the negotiating table, it will have to pay a price for it,” he wrote.
The French president also condemned the Russian armed forces’ attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
According to Macron, France and its partners are studying the possibility of providing assistance to Ukraine, whose infrastructure was damaged after the shelling.
on October 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held telephone talks with Macron. The Ukrainian president thanked France for doing so much to protect lives. According to him, Macron is informed of Ukraine’s priority needs – air defense systems and missiles. Zelenskyy added that Kyiv is working to increase pressure on Russia.
