Marta Kostiuk returns to the top 20 strongest tennis players in the world

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostiuk has climbed into the second ten of the WTA rankings, ranking 19th. This is stated on the website of the association, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Following the results of the tournament in Cincinnati, Marta Kostiuk returned to the top 20 of the world rankings, rising to 19th place (2).
It will be recalled that Kostiuk dropped out of the top 20 last week.

Elina Svitolina also shows a slight progress, moving up one position (now 28th), while Diana Jastremska remained at 33rd. Angelina Kalinina lost two positions (now 54th), while Lesia Tsurenko remained at 82nd place.
Four more Ukrainian tennis players entered the second hundred of the WTA rankings. Daria Snigur and Yulia Starodubtseva improved their positions by one place, while Katarina Zavatska lost two. Anastasia Soboleva made a significant leap, moving up to 200th place (16 positions).
Iga Swietek from Poland retains the top spot in the rankings, having secured her participation in the Final Tournament. Meanwhile, Arina Sabalenka from Belarus beat American Cori Hauff to move up to second place.

In the doubles rankings, Liudmyla Kichenok remains the top-ranked player in Ukraine, ranked 17th in the WTA rankings (-1).
Nadiia Kichenok is ranked 33rd, and Marta Kostiuk is 64th in the world rankings (-1).
