Musk announces the creation of his own Party of America

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, businessman, founder of SpaceX and one of the founders of
Tesla, has announced the creation of his own party, the Party of America.
“Today, the Party of America was created to give you back your freedom,” the entrepreneur wrote on Saturday, July 5, on the social network X, which he owns, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
A day earlier, on the US Independence Day, the billionaire launched a poll “Should we create the Party of America?”, in which about 1.3 million people voted in a day. According to its results, the idea of “independence from the two-party system” was supported by more than 65 percent of participants. “The ratio is 2 to 1: you want a new political party and you will get it!” – musk declared, adding, “When it comes to bankrupting our country through waste and corruption, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy.”
The poll was launched after the introduction of the “big, beautiful” tax bill and a possible increase in the debt ceiling by U.S. President Donald Trump. The initiative was sharply criticized by the American businessman, which was the main reason for the quarrel between him and the head of the White House.
