Massive attack on Kryvyi Rih: there are fires and victims

On the night of July 15, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak and the head of the city’s Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul, the attack caused a large-scale fire and injuries, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Lysak, the explosions were heard not only in Kryvyi Rih, but also in Dniprovskyi and Synelnykivskyi districts of the region.
The strike started a large-scale fire in the city, and preliminary data indicate that there are wounded.
Oleksandr Vilkul confirmed the fact of the strike and urged residents not to post photos and videos from the sites of shelling on social networks. According to him, the activity of enemy “Shahed” kamikaze drones is observed over the city.
“The city is under a massive Shahed attack. There are more than 10 “parishes” and more than 10 Shaheds in the air. There is a fire. Take care of yourself and your loved ones,” Vilkul wrote.
Over the next 20 minutes, the number of explosions increased significantly. According to Vilkul’s updated information, the city was hit by about 20 strikes, and at least 15 drones remained in the air.
The city faced large-scale power outages. The water supply system was switched to backup generators. Residents were warned about a possible decrease in water pressure, especially on the upper floors of buildings.
Information on the extent of the damage, the number of victims and the exact targets hit by the missiles and drones is currently being clarified. Local authorities are urging people to stay in shelters during the air raid and not to neglect safety rules.
