At least four people were killed in an attack on Kyiv on the night of Friday, January 9. Six more were injured. This was reported by the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Four people were killed in the capital. Ten people were injured. Five of them were hospitalized by medics. The others were treated on the spot,” Klitschko wrote.
He also noted that in the Dnipro district, where a UAV hit a 12-story residential building, a fire broke out. The building was partially destroyed.
In the Pecherskyi district, where a UAV struck a 24-story non-residential building, the 23rd and 24th floors were destroyed and a fire broke out.
As a result of the enemy’s massive attack on the capital, critical infrastructure has been damaged.
Some areas of the city are experiencing power outages.
According to TSN, a drone fell on rescuers in the Darnytskyi district. Two rescuers were injured, one of them seriously.
Meanwhile, information is spreading on social media about a rocket hitting a residential building, killing an entire family.
It should be noted that last night, the Air Force and monitoring channels warned of a ballistic strike on Kyiv.
Also, at 2:26 a.m., monitoring channels reported that the number of UAVs in the Kyiv area and its surroundings had increased to 30.
