As a result of a massive missile and drone attack on the energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been introduced in most regions of Ukraine. Restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrenergo.

The Russian night strike on October 30 was again aimed at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The enemy used both drones and missiles for the attack, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said.

She urged everyone to stay in shelters and trust only trusted sources of information. Restoration work will begin as soon as the situation allows.

“As soon as possible, rescuers, repair crews and power engineers will start eliminating the consequences of the attack, restoring power and assessing the damage. I am grateful to every specialist who is fighting for light and heat in our homes,” the minister commented.

Emergency blackouts

Ukrenergo has announced the introduction of emergency blackouts in most regions.

“Emergency blackouts will be canceled after the situation in the power system stabilizes. Follow the messages on the pages of distribution system operators (oblenergos) in your region. If you have electricity now, please use it sparingly!” they urged.

DTEK said that emergency blackouts were introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro regions.

The blackouts will be lifted once the situation in the power system stabilizes. Consumers are advised to follow the messages on the pages of the distribution system operators – regional power distribution companies.

In addition, if you currently have electricity, power engineers advise you to consume it sparingly. It is advisable not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time.
