Massive Russian attack: explosions in Lviv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia region

On the night of Wednesday, September 10, Russia launched one of the most massive attacks on Ukraine in recent months. An air alert went out across the country at 22:17 and lasted for more than eight hours, with the alert still in effect as of 07:50, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy used both kamikaze drones and cruise missiles.
During the missile attack, explosions were heard in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv regions. And drones attacked Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, and other regions of Ukraine.
Zhytomyr
Several powerful explosions were heard in the city after a missile threat was reported. There were no official details on hits or damage as of 7 a.m.
In the Zhytomyr region, the city of Berdychiv was hit by Russian shelling. MP Bohdan Kitsak reported that the city was hit at 6:27 am.
“Close the windows. Acrid smoke is spreading through the city! The consequences of the enemy attack will be eliminated after the alarm is over. For the safety of rescuers!” the MP said.

Vinnytsia region
Natalia Zabolotna, the head of the JFO, confirmed that industrial facilities were hit. Preliminary, there are no casualties or injuries.

Operational services are working on the ground.
The alert in Vinnytsia region was lifted at 7:08 a.m.
Lviv
Around two in the morning, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported the explosions.
He emphasized that city residents should refrain from posting about the consequences of the shelling on social media, instead reporting them to the city’s hotline at 1580.

Lutsk
According to Mayor Igor Polishchuk, the city was attacked by drones. There were no casualties or serious damage, but the wreckage of enemy drones was found on the territory of the community.
Special services are working at the scene.
Massive missile launch
During the night, Russia fired several dozen cruise missiles, including Kalibr, from the southern direction. Monitoring resources report new launches from the east and north.
Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak emphasized that the attack was another proof of the Kremlin’s aggressive policy:
“Russia has launched many missiles, and attacks with drones continue, which are a threat not only to our people. The terrorist country continues the war, although it constantly declares its desire for peace.”
