Almost 400 flights canceled or delayed at Russian airports

At least 393 flights were canceled or postponed in Russia on Sunday, July 6. This was done to ensure flight safety.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Russian media.

As of 18.00 Moscow time, 171 flights were canceled for arrival and departure at Sheremetyevo. The departure of another 56 flights was delayed by more than two hours. At Pulkovo, 90 flights were canceled and 37 were delayed. At Chkalov airport, 26 flights were canceled and 13 were delayed – the restrictions lasted the longest in Nizhny Novgorod air harbor, Rosaviatsia noted.

on July 5, more than 250 flights were canceled at Sheremetyevo, Pulkovo, and Chkalov, and more than 270 were delayed. Experts estimate that the two-day collapse of air traffic in Russia could cost airlines about 20 billion rubles.
