Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 10
14 October 10:48
Microsoft has officially announced the termination of support for the Windows 10 operating system worldwide.
Information about this was published on the company’s official website, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the American company, support for this OS ended on October 14.
“At this point, technical assistance, component updates, and security updates will no longer be provided,” the company said.
Microsoft had set the end date for support back in June 2021, before the release of Windows 11. The Windows 10 operating system was released in 2015. The corporation recommends that users upgrade to Windows 11, as the use of an unupdated OS poses a security risk.
Although full support for Windows 10 has been discontinued, users will still be able to receive updates for at least one year. To do this, you need to log in to the operating system using your Microsoft account. In addition, there is an option to subscribe to a paid subscription for extended security updates (ESU)
