The Ministry of Economy has expanded the list of equipment eligible for 25% compensation

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has expanded the list of domestic machinery and equipment for the agricultural sector, the cost of which is partially compensated by budget funds. The relevant order was signed by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, Komersant ukrainskyi
citing the ministry’s press service.
The list includes 2,289 nomenclature items from 44 manufacturers. The state will reimburse 25% of the cost of this equipment to buyers.
“Thanks to the programme, we expect not only to give an impetus to the development of Ukrainian machine-building enterprises, but also to help our farmers, who will be able to become more competitive in the market by reducing the cost of fixed assets. In addition, this programme will help agricultural producers upgrade their machinery fleet and become more productive.”

She added that UAH 1 billion has been budgeted for the programme this year. According to estimates, about 4,000 farmers will be able to benefit from the state support.
The list includes, among other things, the following items tractors for agriculture and forestry, tillage machinery and equipment (ploughs, harrows, cultivators), sowing and tillage complexes, seed bins and grain storage and reloading machines, machines for cleaning, sorting, calibration of seeds, grains and legumes, grain loaders machines for applying mineral fertilisers, sprayers for chemical protection of crops, tractor trailers and dump trailers for transporting grain, equipment for keeping pigs, cattle and calves, milking cows, machinery and equipment for gardening and berry growing, equipment for drying grain, etc.
To receive 25% compensation for the cost of purchased machinery or equipment, an agricultural producer must choose a supplier from the list on the Ministry of Economy’s website, purchase the necessary equipment and submit the relevant documents to an authorised bank.
