Ministry of Culture blacklists 4 more Russian artists: document

The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine has added four more Russian cultural figures to the list of persons who pose a threat to national security. This is stated in the order of the Ministry, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The so-called blacklist of the Ministry of Culture has been expanded:
- Guseva Yekaterina Konstantinovna (Guseva Ekaterina Konstantinovna), a citizen of the Russian Federation, born on July 09, 1976, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Russian actress of theater, cinema, television, musicals, voice acting and dubbing, singer;
- Sergey Eduardovich Kabailo, citizen of the Russian Federation, born on February 09, 1965, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, actor of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gorky, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the Russian Theater Workers Union, secretary of the Russian Theater Workers Union, member of the United Russia party;
- Zapashny Edgard Walterovich (Zapashny Edgard Walterovich), citizen of the Russian Federation, born on July 11, 1976, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, General Director of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, General Producer and Host of the IDOL World Circus Arts Festival;
- Zapashnyi Askold Walterovich (Zapashnyi Askold Walterovich), citizen of the Russian Federation, born on September 29, 1977, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, artistic director of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Avenue.
The Ministry of Culture’s blacklist was first published in the summer of 2015.
As of October 28, the Ministry of Culture has already added 236 names to the list of persons who pose a threat to national security.
In addition, in June 2022, the ministry discussed the creation of a “white list” of Russian artists. To be included in the list, they would have to sign a declaration condemning Russian aggression. This will allow them to tour in Ukraine, and their music to be played in public spaces.
