Ministry of Defense to start issuing “Wounded Warrior Package” to military: details

In 2025, Ukrainian defenders will start receiving special “Wounded Warrior Package” kits. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Serhiy Melnyk in an interview with ArmyInform, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The Wounded Warrior Package will be issued to the military in 2025. We are also working on the development of adaptive clothing for wounded soldiers and specialized clothing for female soldiers, which will provide comfort and functionality,” Melnyk said.
Melnyk did not specify what would be included in such a package.
He added that another key area is improving nutrition and introducing financial incentives for the military, which will increase motivation and service conditions.
“These initiatives are only part of the systemic changes we plan to implement. They are designed not only to support our military today, but also to create a basis for their protection, development and a confident future,” emphasized Melnyk.
In addition, according to the Deputy Defense Minister, another important area is to improve the food system and introduce additional financial incentives for the military to increase motivation and improve service conditions.
