The Mission is Life charity campaign implemented by the Zemlyachki NGO together with the EVA chain of stores has ended with a result that exceeded all expectations: UAH 9,223,184 was raised to buy protective equipment for combat medics at the front line. This is more than double the initial goal of UAH 4 million.
Thanks to this support, instead of the planned 80, the organization will be able to provide more than 180 combat medics with bulletproof vests, helmets, uniforms, shoes, sleeping bags and mats. All the equipment is adapted to the female anatomy so that women can work mobility, efficiency and safety.
This result is proof of the power of small actions. Donations starting from 1 hryvnia, flyers with QR codes, hundreds of thousands of donations – all this has formed a powerful support for those who save others every day,” said Ksenia Draganiuk, co-founder of the NGO “Zemlyachki” Ksenia Drahaniuk, co-founder of the NGO.

“More than 536 thousand donors have joined the campaign. The initial goal of UAH 4 million was reached on the 31st day of the campaign. Most of the funds came from Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr and Zaporizhzhia regions. Fridays were the most active days of the collection, and the peak time for donors was from 12:00 to 13:00. The average donation was 10-12 UAH, and the largest one-time donation was 1600 UAH. Several of the most active donors made transfers more than 40 times each.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed. This project is not just about equipment. It is about care, trust and shared responsibility for those who hold the line of life. EVA has always been close to its clients, and now we are close to those who save in the most dangerous conditions,” emphasizes Oleksandra Hnatyk, Head of PR at EVA.

The Mission is Life campaign ran from May 8 to July 31, 2025. Transfers for equipment for combat medics could be made in all EVA stores and online at EVA.UA and the Zemlyachky NGO.

on August 14, the organizers held a training day at the range, where participants, including representatives of EVA and Zemlyachky teams, representatives of leading Ukrainian media and military personnel, took a short course in firearms and marksmanship, tactical medicine and mine safety. This allowed them to better understand the challenges faced by combat medics and to feel what it means to make decisions when every second counts.

At the final event on August 15, the organizers presented the results of the project, held a panel discussion on the role of women at the front, gender equality and the importance of systemic charity, and recognized EVA employees whose daily work helped to achieve successful collection results.

The Mission is Life campaign proved that charity can be systemic, emotional and effective when a large network, a powerful public organization and a sincere desire to help come together.
