Ukraine’s local budgets continue to show steady growth. In the first five months of 2025, local budget revenues increased by 18.4% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press center of the State Tax Service.

Total revenues in January-May amounted to almost 201 billion hryvnias.

The main sources of local budget revenues:

  • Personal income tax (PIT) – UAH 112.1 billion (20.2% of the 2024 figure);
  • Single tax – UAH 35.4 billion (13.5%);
  • Corporate income tax – UAH 17.7 billion (21.1%);
  • Property tax – UAH 22.4 billion (14.8%);
  • Excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine – over UAH 1 billion (64.7%);
  • Tourist tax – UAH 132 million (33.8%);
  • Environmental tax – UAH 749.8 million (3.9%).

These results indicate a gradual recovery of economic activity in the regions and improved tax administration. At the same time, state and local authorities are working together to improve the efficiency of tax collection.
