Mobilization in Russia is stalling: security forces from the Rosgvardia are already being used in the military operations

Problems with the mobilization of new soldiers into the Russian army have become so large-scale that they are already trying to recruit fighters from the elite Rosgvardia security structure, which is directly subordinated to Putin. This was reported by one of the Russian Telegram channels, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports. Specifically, it refers to the involvement of employees of non-departmental security units.
According to a document obtained by the channel, despite the official statements of the authorities that “everything is in order” with the recruitment of new fighters, the situation with mobilization is actually problematic. Even increasing spending on advertising military contracts does not help solve the staffing problem.
The Rosgvardia offers its employees business trips lasting three months under the following conditions:
- 4240 rubles in daily allowances (~$52);
- double monthly salary;
- a combat veteran’s certificate.

Officially, it is said that the personnel will be “involved in measures to protect facilities and places of temporary deployment of troops” in the area of the “special operation”. However, according to the source, it is clear that the tasks will not be limited to “protection of objects”.
This information indicates the Russian army’s ongoing problems with manning and the need to involve employees of other law enforcement agencies in the war against Ukraine.
