Wet snow and squalls: what the weather will be like in Ukraine on November 18

On Tuesday, November 18, cool and sometimes unstable weather is expected in Ukraine. Gusty winds, sleet in the mountains and localized precipitation are expected in some regions. The forecast was prepared by national weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Where sleet is possible
On the night of November 18, precipitation will cover the western regions.
In the Carpathians, wet snow is predicted to continue throughout the day.
In most regions, no significant precipitation is expected during the day. Light rains are possible in:
- Odesa region,
- in the mountainous regions of the Carpathians.
Air temperature
The weather will be contrasting depending on the region.
West, North, Center – cool, 3… 8°C
South, East, Dnipro region – much warmer, 12… 17°C
Wind: where will the squalls be
On Tuesday, westerly and southwesterly winds are expected, gusty in places.
In some regions, the speed can reach 15-20 m/s, which corresponds to storm gusts.
Weather in Kyiv
On November 18, it will be cool in the capital, but without precipitation.
Temperature: 6… 8°C
Wind: gusty, squalls are possible
Atmosphere: cold, cloudy, with an autumnal feeling of the beginning of winter.
When it gets colder
According to Natalia Didenko, a more significant drop in temperature is expected after November 24.
This is a preliminary forecast, but the trend towards colder weather continues.
