Peace agreement with Putin impossible, says Bogutskaya

Any attempts to negotiate peace with Russia are doomed to failure. This was stated by Ukrainian MP Elizaveta Bogutskaya in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".
“You know, I don’t think a peace agreement will work. Any peace agreement. Because there can be no peace agreement with Putin. Putin is a deceitful monster, deceitful, not a single word can be believed,” she said.
The MP recalled in detail the chronology of Russia’s aggressive actions — from the occupation of Crimea to the war in Donbas. She emphasized that any attempts by Putin to justify his actions are manipulation.
“And in Donbas, they ‘weren’t there,’ and then it turned out that they were just covering for someone there or something else,” she added.
Bogutskaya also compared the level of democracy in Ukraine with other European countries, emphasizing the peculiarities of life in conditions of war and constant threat from the aggressor.
“Nowhere in Europe is there such a level of democracy as in Ukraine, if only because no European country is at war,” she said.
