Important energy facilities have been damaged in Chernihiv and Odesa regions, and a number of settlements have been left without power

As a result of shelling by Russian troops, an energy facility in the Novgorod-Siverskyi district of the Chernihiv region has been damaged, according to the press service of JSC “Chernigivoblenergo,” reports "Komersant Ukrainian".

“As a result of Russian shelling, an important power facility in the Novgorod-Siverskyi district was damaged. A number of settlements were left without power,” according to a message posted on the Telegram channel on Monday morning.

At the same time, in Odesa, as a result of an enemy attack on the night of January 12, there are also power outages and damage to buildings.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, on Telegram.

According to Serhiy Lysak, infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged after the night attack on the city.

Part of the Peresypsky district is temporarily without power, and specialists are working to restore it.

Heat, water supply, and sewage systems are functioning normally.

“An operational headquarters has been set up at the site of the attack, where residents can apply for compensation under the state program “eRestoration” and from the city budget. We provide advice and assistance to residents whose homes have been damaged,” the head of the MBA said.

A warming center has also been set up for local residents.

Housing and utilities workers are closing the broken windows.

As a reminder, on the night of January 11, an infrastructure facility in the Odessa district of the Odessa region was damaged as a result of an enemy attack. Because of this, part of one of the districts is temporarily without electricity.

According to preliminary data, two people were injured as a result of the strike. In addition, damage to residential buildings has been reported.

One private house was completely destroyed, and four other houses were damaged to varying degrees.
