The situation at the front is the hottest in the Kurakhove sector, – General Staff

Over the past day, 13 October, 161 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The largest number of combat engagements was recorded in the Kurakhove sector. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Yesterday, the enemy launched 53 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 92 drones. In addition, it carried out more than 3,700 attacks, 90 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of Sosnivka, Myshutino, Hlukhiv, Obody, Bila Bereza, Prudyanka, Hoptivka, Mali Prokhody, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Novoosynove, Hrekivka, Horokhuvatka, Chasiv Yar, Kramatorsk, Oleksandropil, Rodynske and Makarivka.
Situation at the frontline
Inthe Kharkiv sector, fighting continued near Starytsia.
Inthe Kupyansk sector , 19 firefights took place near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Vyshneve, Kopanky and Lozova.
Inthe Liman sector, according to updated information, the enemy attacked 19 times near Hrekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Novosadove, Nevske, Terny and Torske.
Inthe Kramatorsk sector, three combat engagements took place in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
Inthe Toretsk sector, the occupants attacked four times near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
Inthe Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 25 enemy assaults in the vicinity of Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Promin and Selydove.
Inthe Kurakhivka sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled 39 enemy attacks near Zhelanne Druzhne, Kreminna Balka, Izmailivka, Novoselydivka, Kurakhivka, Hirnyk, Maksymilianivka, Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka.
Inthe Vremivsk sector, the enemy attacked twice near Zolota Niva.
Inthe Orikhiv sector, the occupiers unsuccessfully tried three times to push our units near Robotyno and Mala Tokmachka.
Inthe Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy was defeated, attacking Ukrainian defensive lines eight times.
The situation inthe Gulyaypillia sector remained unchanged. In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducting mortar and artillery shelling of settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Enemy aircraft carried out 21 strikes on the Kursk region, dropping 31 guided bombs.
Enemy losses
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted 11 strikes on the areas where enemy personnel and weapons were concentrated, and also hit a command post and another important enemy object.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1260 casualties over the past day. Our soldiers also neutralised four tanks, 19 armoured combat vehicles, 11 artillery systems, 17 operational and tactical UAVs, 38 vehicles and two special vehicles.
The total enemy combat losses from 24.02.22 to 14.10.24 are estimated to be
- personnel – about 670190 (1260) people were killed;
- tanks – 8975 (4) units;
- armoured combat vehicles – 17895 (19) units;
- artillery systems – 19421 (11) units;
- MLRS – 1231 units;
- air defence systems – 978 units;
- aircraft – 369 units;
- helicopters – 329 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level – 17009 (17) units;
- cruise missiles – 2619 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers – 26622 (38) units;
- special equipment – 3437 (2) units.
