Nelipa, a famous actor and TV presenter, died at the front

Ukrainian actor, TV presenter, Diesel Show star, and member of the Ukrainian Defense Forces Maksym Nelipa was killed on May 12 at the front while performing a combat mission. This was reported by his wife on Facebook, confirmed by Ukrainian actor Dmytro Oskin, and Deputy General Director of FC Dynamo Kyiv Maxim Radutsky, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“Max is no more,” wrote Maksym Radutskyi, posting a photo of the Hero from the front.

The wife of the deceased soldier, Tamara Nelipa, noted that investigative actions are currently underway into the circumstances of the tragedy. It is known that her husband was a unit commander.

“I have no words and no tears. My condolences to our children, my deepest sympathies to Maksik’s mother, family and friends! My condolences to myself and to all of us! This is an unbearable loss that we will have to live with. Damn you, war,” wrote Maxim’s wife.

Details about the circumstances of Maksym Nelipa’s death have not yet been released.

Who is Maksym Nelipa?

Maksym Nelipa was born in 1976 in Kyiv.

He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in instrumentation engineering. During his studies, he was the captain of the KVN team “Polytechnic Cowboys”, which was the start of his career in the entertainment industry.

He was a KVN star and gained national fame and love as the host of the TV lottery “Who’s There?” on 1 1 and the popular shows “Lose a Million” on ICTV and “Rise” on the New Channel.

In 2007, he took part in the project “Dancing with the Stars” together with Olena Shoptenko.

In 2017, he joined the Diesel Show team and participated in various comedy projects of Diesel Studio.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In January 2025, he was wounded at the front, underwent several surgeries in Dnipro, and after rehabilitation returned to service.
