An explosion occurred in the premises of the district TCC and SP in Ivano-Frankivsk region: details of the incident

On the night of February 18, an explosion occurred at the Kolomyia District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
This information was confirmed to Suspilne by Natalia Kotsakovich, sergeant of the communications group of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to her, no one was injured as a result of the explosion. However, the center’s building was damaged.
The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, is conducting an investigation to determine all the circumstances. A pre-trial investigation is underway under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — terrorist act. Investigators and bomb disposal experts are working at the scene.
Other cases of attacks on TCCs and SPs in Ukraine
In February 2025, several regions of Ukraine were targeted by terrorist attacks on TCK and SP. In five days in February, similar incidents occurred in the Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Rivne, February 1: At around 4:00 p.m., an explosion occurred at a local TCK. The SBU reported that the attack was organized by Russian special services through a recruited local resident. A 21-year-old man from Zhytomyr brought a homemade explosive device disguised in a backpack and died on the spot. Eight military personnel were injured to varying degrees.
