Frost is coming to Kyiv region: temperature will drop to -5°

Frosts down to -5° are expected in Kyiv region this week. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Today and tomorrow, an atmospheric front from the northwest will pass through the Kyiv region, which will cause short-term rains and some thunderstorms.

And from Wednesday, an anticyclone will have an impact, which will come from the north and provide clearer weather and no precipitation.

However, temperatures will drop significantly, and frosts are even expected on the soil surface at night on 8, 9 and 10.

“A warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena in the Kyiv region. At night on 8, 9 and 10 May, there will be frosts of 0-5° on the soil surface. Hazard level I, yellow,”

– the forecasters wrote.
