Explosions rocked Lviv region: “Shahids” attacked critical infrastructure

On the morning of February 8, explosions were heard in the Lviv region amid the “Shahid” attack. Russian troops attempted to attack critical infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram channel of the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
“During today’s air raid alert, the enemy again attempted to attack critical infrastructure in the Lviv region. Thanks to our defenders, they did not succeed,” Kozitsky said.
According to him, there were no casualties or injuries. Specialized services are working on site.
Prior to this, the head of the Regional State Administration warned that the explosions in the region were the work of air defense forces targeting enemy drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of drones in the direction of Lviv.
Shelling of Ukraine
As a reminder, on the night of February 8, Russia attacked Ukraine with 101 strike drones from five directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 69 enemy drones.
At the same time, 32 attack drones were recorded hitting 13 locations, and debris fell on one location.
Late in the evening of February 7, Russian occupation forces once again attacked the civilian population of Kherson. The Korabelny district of the city was hit by a massive strike from multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of the enemy attack, three women suffered injuries of varying severity.
At dawn on February 8, Russian troops struck Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. The attack left one person dead and several injured, and damaged residential buildings.
The Zaporizhzhia region also experienced one of the most intense drone attacks in recent times.
