Ukraine does not plan to introduce electronic referrals to the military medical commission in the Reserve mobile application. This was reported by [Kommersant] news agency citing an interview with Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security.
“We did not regulate in the law on mobilisation the possibility of sending any notifications or referrals to the military registration and enlistment office through the electronic cabinet. Therefore, from the point of view of the law, it is not possible to send notices to the CMC via electronic means of communication,” Venislavsky said.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation Kateryna Chernogorenko said during a national telethon that the ministry was considering creating an electronic referral to the MEC.
“We are currently working and considering so that there is no need to physically go to the TCC and JV to get a referral for a VLC. In fact, with the consent of the person, if he or she wants, we can upload it to the “Reserve”, the official said.
According to her, this decision was to relieve the TCC and help avoid queues.
