MP Fedir Khrystenko is wanted: suspected of high treason and ties to the FSB

The Security Service of Ukraine has put MP Fedir Khrystenko, a representative of the banned pro-Russian party OPFL, on the wanted list. The relevant information appeared in the search records of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

What is known about Khrystenko
- Member of Parliament of the IX convocation from the OPFL, elected in 2019 in constituency #46 (Donetsk region)
- Allegations: According to the SBU, Khrystenko was an FSB agent recruited during the Yanukovych era.
- He performed tasks for Russian special services, in particular:
- Organized the transportation of “titushky” to Anti-Maidan during the Revolution of Dignity
- After the start of the full-scale invasion, he fled abroad, first to Poland, then to the UAE
- He had close ties with NABU leaders and influenced their activities through personal contacts
Scandals and wealth
- In 2020, he celebrated his wife’s birthday in an elite restaurant in Moscow – the cost was $1 million, according to the SBU, paid by criminal figure Armen Sargsyan
- In 2019, he declared UAH 114 million in cash, had real estate in Moscow and business assets in Kyiv
- Missed 51% of votes in the Verkhovna Rada, last appeared at meetings in 2021
Khrystenko is also involved in a case of influence on the NABU, where the investigation established his ties to detectives who helped oligarchs cross the border. The SBU considers him a key agent of Russian influence in Ukrainian law enforcement.
