National cashback: payments for December will be made at the end of February

Payments under the National Cashback program for December will be made at the end of February. This was announced by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
She also said that in November, payments under the National Cashback program were almost twice as high as in October.
“In November, the state paid 232 million hryvnias in cashback to citizens, which is almost twice as much as in October. The number of cashback recipients increased by 800 thousand in November. This indicates that interest in the program continues to grow, as does the demand for Ukrainian goods. Please note that payments for December and January will be made at the end of February 2025,”
– the official said.
The Ministry of Economy reported that the delay in payments was due to the peculiarities of the budget process. They assure that all accrued funds will be paid in full.
Key program indicators for November:
- The average payment increased from UAH 97 to UAH 116 per person.
- The number of recipients increased by 800 thousand and reached almost 2 million people.
- The most active participants are Ukrainians under 45 (60% of users); 24% of participants are middle-aged; 16% of participants are older (60 years old).
- About 700 thousand people did not receive payments due to late activation of cards in the Diia app or savings of less than UAH 2.
- The total amount of unpaid cashback is UAH 48 million.
Key indicators of the program as of December 25, 2024:
- 7.9 million citizens joined the program.
- 8.6 million National Cashback cards were issued.
- 4.2 million cards have been activated in Diia.
- UAH 388 million has been disbursed since the program’s launch.
- The program involves 1665 manufacturers.
- The program offers 360 thousand Ukrainian-made goods.

How the program works
The government refunds 10% of the cost of Ukrainian goods from a special list purchased in participating stores. The funds are transferred to a special National Cashback card, which cannot be withdrawn.

- Medical services.
- Education.
- Transportation.
- Mobile communication.
- Insurance.
- Books and printed materials.
- Medicines and medical products of Ukrainian origin.
- Charity.
- Donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through charitable foundations.
The maximum cashback amount is 3000 UAH per month.
How to join the program
To participate in the program, you need to apply through the mobile application of an authorized bank or contact a branch, open a National Cashback card and activate it in the Diia application.
