Polish President Karol Nawrocki has signed an agreement to deploy NATO troops to Poland as part of Operation Eastern Guard.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a post in the X National Security Bureau of Poland.

It is important to note that yesterday, in response to the invasion of Poland by Russian drones on September 10, NATO launched Operation Eastern Watch. According to the Bureau’s publication, this refers to the deployment of troops as part of this operation.

“The President… signed a resolution authorizing the deployment of armed forces of foreign member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO – ed.) to Poland to strengthen defense capabilities as part of Operation Eastern Watch,” the publication says.

They also added that the resolution is secret.

As a reminder, on the night of September 10, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. Drones were spotted in different regions of our country, and about 20 units flew into Polish airspace.

According to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the country’s airspace was violated at least 19 times. As a result of the threat, combat aircraft were sent into the sky. It is known that the air defense forces shot down 4 drones, and the wreckage of 16 has already been found.
