Hottest spot in the Pokrovsk sector: 120 combat engagements took place in the frontline

The Russians continue active offensive operations and are trying to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops along the entire frontline, with 120 combat engagements taking place over the past day. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Over the past day, the aggressor launched one missile attack on the positions of our troops and settlements (using five missiles), dropped more than a hundred guided aerial bombs, and fired 4480 times at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The enemy carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Mali Prokhody, Liptsi, Vesele, Vovchansk, Slobozhanske, Hlyboke, Kupiansk, Stepova Novoselivka, Glushkivka, Borova in Kharkiv region; Lyman, Vyymka, Ivano-Daryivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pivnichne, New York, Oleksandropil, Vozdvyzhenka, Yelizavetivka, Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Oblast; Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Tyahyntsi and Tokarivka in Kherson Oblast.
Situation at the frontline
In theKharkiv sector, the enemy continued to be active. A total of six hostile attacks took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke. The occupants used aviation for support.
In theKupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements in the last day totalled seven. Defence forces repelled attacks in the areas of Sinkivka, Vilshana in Kharkiv region and Berestove in Donetsk region.
In theLiman sector, our troops prevented eleven enemy assault operations in the vicinity of Makiivka and Nevske.
In theSiverskyi sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled eight attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Verkhnekamianske, Rozdolivka and Vyymka in Donetsk region.
In theKramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy attempts to break through the defences of our defenders in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Chasovyi Yar and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.
In theToretsk sector, the enemy launched 18 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne, Zalizne and New York in the Donetsk region.
In thePokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 41 attacks by the occupiers near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Novoselivka Persha, Sokil, Progress, Yasnobrodivka and Karlivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy concentrated its efforts near Novooleksandrivka, where as many as 14 firefights took place.
In theKurakhove sector , the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy, according to updated information, attacked our positions six times.
In theVremivsk sector, the occupants made 11 attacks on our positions. The invaders were most active near Urozhayne, Donetsk region, where they conducted seven attacks.
The situation in theHuliaipol sector did not change significantly. One attack towards Huliaipol was repelled. No positions were lost.
Two combat engagements took place in theOrikhiv sector, including near Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia.
In thePrydniprovskyi sector, the occupants continue to try to drive the Ukrainian Defence Forces units from their positions at the footholds. Twice the Russian attacks have failed.
The operational situation in theVolyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. There are no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions , the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Enemy losses
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces hit six control points, an artillery system, an electronic warfare station and an area where enemy personnel were concentrated.
As a result, the total losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to more than 1,030 people.
Our troops also neutralised nine tanks, 23 armoured combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, two air defence systems, 26 tactical UAVs, five missiles, 84 vehicles and eight pieces of special equipment.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 12.07.24 are estimated to be

- armoured combat vehicles – 15,755 (23) units;
- artillery systems – 15,158 (48) units;
- MLRS – 1119 units;
- air defence systems – 888 (2) units;
- aircraft – 361 units;
- helicopters – 326 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level – 12,035 (26) units;
- cruise missiles – 2,397 (5) units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers – 20,409 (84) units;
- special equipment – 2,543 (8) units.
