Countries that will recognize Palestine on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly are named

On Monday, September 22, 10 countries plan to recognize the state of Palestine at the UN General Assembly.

This was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP), "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“During a conference on Monday in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, ten countries will be presented that have decided to “move to recognize the state of Palestine,” the report says.

These are France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Portugal, Malta, Luxembourg, Andorra, and San Marino.

AFP journalists say that on Monday, a conference will be held at which French President Emmanuel Macron will speak at 15:00 New York time (22:00 Kyiv time); he will announce Paris’ recognition of Palestine.

Macron is also the chairman of this conference together with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
