According to her, this week the territory of Kyiv, northern regions, and partly Cherkasy and Poltava regions were under the influence of an active cyclone. It formed on the night of 12 June over the territory of Ukraine. Although the cyclone has already moved north from the Kyiv region, residents of the capital should still take umbrellas with them on Friday, 14 June.
“Today we will have some respite from precipitation, as the cyclone will retreat, for most regions. However, we still expect a new portion of precipitation on Friday, but not as intense. Now another air mass has come in – a cool one. Now, by the end of the working week, many regions will not have such hot and high temperatures, and the air masses will be fresher,”

Today, on 13 June, there are light short-term rains and thunderstorms in Kyiv; the temperature is 21-23°.
