Night attack on Kyiv: drone debris damages trolleybus network

On the night of September 19, Russian occupiers tried to attack the capital with drones. As a result of the shelling, the trolleybus network was damaged. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram of the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko.

According to him, the wreckage of the downed UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) was found in several locations.

“In particular, on the roadway in Shevchenkivskyi district. The trolleybus network was damaged,” he informed.

Preliminary, there were no casualties.

Tkachenko also added that Kyiv is currently investigating “the nature of possible damage in the city.”

At the same time, the city authorities reported the downing of a drone in the Solomyansky district.

“According to preliminary information, a UAV crashed and exploded in the Solomyansky district. Emergency services are on their way,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote.

Meanwhile, local publics are publishing a video of the explosion on the roof of a residential high-rise.

Last night, Kyiv was also attacked by a UAV. Residents were warned about the air defense system.

In total, last night, Russians attacked Ukraine with 75 Shahed, Gerber and other types of attack UAVs, air defense defenses neutralized 48 drones, and there were hits at 6 locations.
