Russian night attack on Kyiv: SES releases footage from arrival sites

The night of November 14 was one of the most difficult for the capital in recent times. A massive Russian attack resulted in a series of fires, the destruction of residential buildings, and numerous casualties. According to the State Emergency Service, at least 1 person was killed and 24 others were injured in Kyiv, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Rescue units managed to rescue more than 40 people, some of them from the rubble.
Emergency services continue to work in all districts of the capital where hits and fires have been reported. The information is being updated.
Podolsky district
A rocket hit a multi-storey residential building on the 15th floor.
Rescuers promptly evacuated and rescued 13 residents from the smoke-filled apartments.
Dniprovsky district
Several fires broke out here:
Two apartments on the first floor of a five-story building caught fire, with a fire area of 50 square meters. Rescuers rescued 17 people.
At another address, a 30-square-meter fire was extinguished, where the 19th and 21st floors were partially destroyed.
Wooden buildings of a 200-square-meter sports center were also on fire.
Darnytskyi district
A fire broke out on the territory of a local school over an area of 5 square meters.
The fire was quickly localized.
Desnianskyi district
The situation here was one of the most difficult.
A fire broke out in a high-rise building on the 7th floor, from which rescuers took 9 people out, and another 50 residents were evacuated.
At another location, a large-scale fire broke out on the 5th-8th floors.
1 person died, 14 were rescued, including 1 child, and one person had to be unblocked from the rubble.
Solomensky district
The roof and fifth floor of a residential building were on fire.
Thanks to the quick actions of firefighters, 20 people were rescued.
Sviatoshynskyi district
A residential building was damaged as a result of a hit on the 7th floor.
In a separate 22-storey building, a fire broke out on the 19th floor and was extinguished.
Holosiivskyi district
Here, rocket fragments fell on the territory of a hospital.
A fire in a 15-square-meter building was also extinguished.
Shevchenkivskyi district
Rescuers extinguished the fire in an open area.
Obolon district
A hit to a 9-storey building caused a large-scale fire in apartments from the 7th to the 9th floors over a total area of about 100 square meters.
One person was rescued.
The situation remains tense
All emergency services continue to work at the sites of the attacks, extinguishing fires, removing rubble and helping the victims.
