Russia’s night attack: 42 drone strikes in 18 locations recorded – what is known

On the night of November 27, Russia carried out another attack with strike drones in recent weeks. Starting at 6 p.m. the previous day, 142 drones – Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones – were launched at Ukraine. This was reported by the Air Force, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
The salvos were launched from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
What is the scale of the attack?
According to the Air Force, approximately 90 drones were Shahed. Ukrainian air defense repelled the attack with anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, as well as electronic warfare and unmanned systems units.
It was recorded:
- 42 strike drone hits in 18 settlements and facilities;
- falling debris in three locations.
How many drones were shot down
As of 08:30, Ukrainian air defense destroyed or suppressed 92 enemy UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
However, the attack was still ongoing in the morning, with some enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
What the Air Force says
The army emphasizes that it is important not to neglect safety during long night attacks.
“Follow the safety rules!” the Air Force urged.
