Nighttime events on the Crimean Bridge: what is known

Around midnight on February 27, the Russian occupation authorities announced a temporary closure of the Crimean Bridge to motor vehicle traffic. The announcement was published on Telegram channels, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The message to drivers stated that traffic had been temporarily suspended and that everyone on the bridge or in the inspection area was asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of transport security personnel.
What is known about the closure
The reasons for the traffic restrictions have not been officially detailed. At the same time, on the night of February 27, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged destruction of 53 drones over the territory of Russia and the occupied Crimea.
According to the Russian side:
- 12 drones were allegedly heading towards Moscow;
- some of the UAVs were shot down over the occupied peninsula;
- the threat of an air attack lasted several hours.
When traffic resumed
At 4:09 a.m., the occupying forces announced the full resumption of traffic across the Kerch Strait.
No information about damage to infrastructure or emergencies directly on the bridge was officially released.
