“Nova Poshta” is raising its rates: how much will it now cost to send a package?
4 April 13:09
The postal service provider, Nova Poshta, is raising its parcel delivery rates starting April 13.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Nova Poshta’s press service.
The company noted that this decision is driven by the need to align service costs with current operating conditions.
This refers to rising costs of fuel, energy, partner services, and overall operational expenses.
The cost of intra-city document delivery will now be 70 hryvnias, and 80 hryvnias for delivery within Ukraine. The price already includes a branded cardboard envelope.
Starting April 13, city delivery rates will be:
- up to 2 kg – 70 hryvnias;
- up to 10 kg – 115 hryvnias;
- up to 30 kg – 180 hryvnias.
Delivery within Ukraine:
- up to 2 kg – 90 hryvnias;
- up to 10 kg – 135 hryvnias;
- up to 30 kg – 200 hryvnias.
Shipments over 30 kg:
- between branches within the city: 7 UAH/kg;
- between branches across Ukraine: from 11 UAH/kg depending on the tariff zone.
At the same time, the company continues to offer free packaging for small parcels, branded envelopes for documents, in-transit redirection, and a fee for declared value up to 500 hryvnias.
In addition, the cost of some services remains unchanged:
- parcel storage at branches;
- the “Transfer Point” service;
- surcharge for shipping from a village or small town;
- packaging of medium (up to 10 kg) and large (up to 30 kg) parcels.
As a reminder, Nova Poshta has adjusted its schedule for Easter. On Sunday, April 12, branches and door-to-door delivery will operate on a reduced schedule.
