Occupants shoot a captured Ukrainian defender in Donetsk region

on April 11, the Russian occupiers captured a Ukrainian soldier who was performing a task at a position near the village of Rozdolne in Donetsk region. They later shot him dead.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The deceased, along with two other Ukrainian soldiers, were at the position. However, during an enemy assault, they were all taken prisoner.
One of them was shot with an automatic weapon. Law enforcement is currently establishing the circumstances of the incident to bring the Russians involved to justice.
In April, the Associated Press cited data from the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, according to which Russian troops have killed at least 245 Ukrainian prisoners of war since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi emphasized that such executions have become systematic.
