Oleksandr Usyk is among the highest paid athletes. Who else is in the top 100

The seventh place in the ranking of the highest paid athletes was achieved in 2024 by the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, a Ukrainian. This was reported by Champion magazine, citing Sportico, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Interestingly, the Ukrainian boxer still lost to his last opponent, Tyson Fury, in this financially rewarding competition in absentia. The Briton took 3rd place, having earned $147 million.
Oleksandr Usyk earned $122 million for two fights against Tyson Fury, which allowed him to take 7th place in the ranking of the highest paid athletes.
But the main thing is that the Ukrainian boxer has won in the ring more than once. The latest achievement, as you know, dates back to December 21, 2024, when Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in a rematch.
As for the financial ranking, the 40-year-old footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is at the top with $260 million. Basketball player Stephen Curry is in second place with a dollar result of $153.8 million. Lionel Messi is on the 4th place – 135 million.

Ukrainian boxer can still improve his results
In an interview with Sky Sports, Oleksandr Usyk shared his plans and, in particular, said that he expects to fight only two more fights in his career.
“I think two years, one and a half [left in boxing]. I feel great. I think I need to prepare [for] two fights, no more. Only two,” the Ukrainian boxer said.
In his next fight, he plans to fight the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker.
