The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets emphasized that employees of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TSC and SP) are obliged to act exclusively within the law, even during martial law. This was announced by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Lubinets said that the Ombudsman’s Office is actively responding to complaints about possible violations of citizens’ rights by representatives of the CCC and JV during mobilization activities. These are cases of illegal detention, restriction of freedom of movement, use of physical force or other illegal actions.
“As the Ombudsman, I act within my powers by sending appeals to the relevant authorities. If violations are confirmed, I insist on bringing the perpetrators to justice,” said Dmytro Lubinets.
According to the statement, employees of the TCC and JV have no right to restrict the freedom of citizens or use physical force without legal grounds. Forced delivery or detention is possible only by decision of the authorized bodies and in strict compliance with the law.
At the same time, Lubinets emphasized that citizens are also obliged to comply with the law.
