Onofriychuk wins Ukraine’s first medal in 10 years in ribbon routine at the World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics

Ukraine won the second medal at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Taisiia Onofriichuk won it in the ribbon routine.

On the final day of the finals, Ukraine was represented in five finals: four in individual exercises and one in group exercises. Taisiia Onofriychuk, the leader of the Ukrainian rhythmic gymnastics team, qualified for three of the finals, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports citing Suspilne.

Onofriychuk approached the finals with a bronze medal won in the team championship. However, in the individual all-around, the Ukrainian stopped one step short of the award, taking fourth place.

On the final day of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, Onofriychuk did not win any medals. At first, the Ukrainian took sixth place in the hoop exercise, and then stopped one step short of a medal in the clubs exercise.

In the last individual final at the 2025 World Cup, Onofriychuk won the bronze medal. Compared to her performance in the all-around qualification, the 17-year-old Ukrainian received a lower score (29.1000 points), but this result was enough for her to win bronze.
